NO Xplode Side Effects

As far as NO Xplode side effects are concerned, what we know about the effects of the drug mostly comes from what people have written in testimonials and not from scientific studies. In my last article, I wrote about nitric oxide in general, which is the main ingredient in NO Xplode. In fact, the NO in the title is what the nitric oxide molecule looks like, one molecule of oxygen, and one molecule of nitrogen, making NO. In order to talk about NO Xplode side effects, we have to break it up into known side effects of nitric oxide in general, and specific side effects of NO Xplode. Since NO Xplode has a range of other compounds besides just nitric oxide, it has different side effects associated with it. So before we go specifically into NO Xplode, lets talk a little bit about nitric oxide in general.

Nitric oxide is what's known as a vasodilator, meaning that it dialates or widens the veins and arteries, allowing for more blood flow. The way this works in bodybuilding is that whenever a person works out a muscle group, blood flows heavily to the area, bringing fresh oxygen and nutrients to help muscles work and repair. So it stands to reason that the more plentiful supply of blood to the muscles, the longer they'll be able to work, and the quicker they'll repair. That's essentially how nitric oxide works for bodybuilders. But because nitric oxide effects the vascular system, it can have some serious side effects including:

  • Arrhythmia, or Irregular Heart Beat
  • Fatal Low Blood Pressure Dips
  • Extended Hypotension
  • Nausea
  • Headaches

NO Xplode side effects vary with the amount being used and for how long a person uses the product.
NO Xplode side effects vary with the amount being used and for how long a person uses the product.

Specific NO Xplode Side Effects

Now that you've seen how nitric oxide works and some of the side effects of it, lets take a look at some side effects that are more specific to NO Xplode. Most of these I've found from reading through extensive testimonials from persons who had used the product. NO Xplode has a variety of other compounds in its ingredients besides nitric oxide. Some of the ingredients are proprietary, meaning they haven't listed them, and others are right on the label.

1. Caffeine

  • One of the NO Xplode side effects that was reported had to do with the caffeine content in NO Xplode. Though not recorded on the label, apparently NO Xplode contains high levels of caffeine, and with extended use, can bring about all of the symptoms of caffeine side effects as well as caffeine withdrawals when not taking the product.

2. Kidney Damage

  • NO Xplode also can do some kidney damage if taken for an extended period of time. The kidneys are largely responsible for filtering out wastes and transferring them into urine, and NO Xplode can cause your kidneys to have an extra workload. That's why the product generally recommends that a person drinks 120 ounces of water per day, which is a huge amount of water. 120 ounces of water will help support the kidneys and will help them to filter out whatever they need to. This NO Xplode side effect worries me, because anything that adversely effect the kidneys generally means that a lot of extra waste is being introduced into the body and expelled through urine. So in essence, you're pissing away all your money (Sorry for the bad joke).

3. Muscle Cramping

  • Muscle cramping with NO Xplode is generally the result of dehydration. Because of the huge volume of water they recommend that you drink, most people don't take in that much water and even if they do, the body can't always handle the volume of water and process it, meaning that effects like muscle cramping and others that can arise through dehydration are possible.

4. Bloating

  • Another big side effect reported with NO Xplode is bloating. A lot of the users reported feeling cramped and bloated after taking this product. Depending on how many scoops a person uses and when they start their workout, bloating is a definite possibility.

Using NO Xplode

The bottom line is that NO Xplode definitely does what it claims to do. People using NO Xplode workout longer and harder because of the effects of the caffeine and nitric oxide. If you are going to use NO Xplode, the best advice would be to use it for a short period of time. Some users reported using it for up to 3 months. That's a very long time to use a supplement that puts a clear strain on the kidneys. If you use NO Xplode for an extended period of time, you'll probably start noticing a boost in side effects, depending on how much water you drink with the product to help support the kidneys. In the opinion of many NO Xplode should only be used for short periods of time, to help bodybuilders push through plateaus and help them get new gains. But beware the side effects. If you begin to notice side effects, especially side effects of the heart and vascular system, be wary of continuing to use NO Xplode.

I was reading this and thinking, forgive me just where my mind goes, how does it affect a mans erection? Has there been any studies on that? I would think that it could actually be a problem if taken and having sexual intercourse, with the blood rushing to the muscle....just curious...lol

great article as always

Haha, that's an interesting question. I honestly can't answer it. Well, I guess since it's a muscle, the supplement would effect it. I would venture to say that it says something on the directions for that kind of scenario. Thanks for stopping by!

I've taken a different NO supplement together with creatine as recommended by many bodybuilders and I have to say that this was when both my power and muscle mass were at the peak, I was at my best! Unfortunately NO supplements are just too expensive in my country so I had to stop using them.

I would recommend anyone using any kind of supplement to really take the time to make the proper assessment if that supplement works for you. Our body's chemistry is so different from one another that many times what may work for others may not work for you, and even if the chances are slim. I've experienced no result with a supplement that affects 98% of the population, but I guess i'm just part of that 2 percentile.

That's really good advice. I agree completely. Each person has different body chemistry and different supplements work different for different people. Thanks very much for stopping by!

No explode is the best pre work out i ve tried. I use it in 3month intervals, then take 2-4weeks off. The erection question, i felt i could stay erect forever. with the high blood flow. This product gives you an easy pump, insane energy, and tastes good. just be careful not to take too much too fast. start with 1 scoop and slowly work your way up. i did 3 scoops quickly and it made me feel lousy until i picked up the weights.

Benjimester profile image

Benjimester Hub Author 16 months ago

Corey, thanks for the testimonial. That's really good advice. Starting slow is definitely advisable. I often get hit with nausea if I take too much of something that boosts energy levels or performance.

I'm deployed and started working out with no suppliments, I had muscle failure rather quickly. I started taking No-Xplode with my workouts and more than doubled my muscular endurence. Never had any side effects either. Just drink lots and lots of water and you will be fine with this suppliment.

Benjimester profile image

Benjimester Hub Author 16 months ago

That's awesome. I'm the same way. If I workout without supplements I plateau very quickly and can't gain more muscle mass. NO Xplode is about the best legal supplement a person can take. More and more people are saying that they haven't experienced any side effects. Thanks very much for your service by the way.

Hey, I just turned 16 and i bought this product a week ago.. i have been taking it for the whole week and i didnt feel a difference.. it gives me a big headache.. plz advice me..

Benjimester profile image

Benjimester Hub Author 9 months ago

At 16 dude, it's hard to get more energy. You might not be noticing the energy rush because you're already fully energized just from being 16 and having a metabolism that's still at peak efficiency. Headaches are usually from not drinking enough water. People who use NO Xplode on a regular basis always say you need to pound down the water with it to avoid headaches.

I don't really have a good answer for you though. Sorry man. If it's not giving you more energy during your workouts, then there's probably not much you can do about it. Maybe wait 10 years till your metabolism starts slowing down.

I USE NO.XPLODE WHEN I GO TO GYM AND NOT REGULAR.MY VISITS TO GYM ARE 3-4 DAYS PER WEEK ON AN AVERAGE.I DRINK AROUND 150 OUNCES OF WATER PER DAY.IS THAT OK OR SHOULD I MODIFY MY NO.XPLODE CONSUMPTION CYCLE?

Benjimester profile image

Benjimester Hub Author 8 months ago

That's a pretty good amount of water. If you aren't experiencing headaches and other side effects, then it's probably more than enough. As long as you're using it as the directions advise, you should see some good gains at 3-4 days per week.

The same thing happens to me if I take ginseng. I always take products like that in the morning, so that by the time I need to go to sleep, they've already worked themselves out of my system. You might try that, taking it earlier in the day.

Tom 5 months ago

Nice break down of the product. I have been using it on and off dating back to 2007. Always two months on and then one month off. Sometimes taking breaks for as long as a year. Recently just got back into it. Throughout the roughly 5 years I have experienced all the symptoms you listed but always very mildly and only on occasion. Now that it has been this long, albeit with long breaks in between at times, I am really only concerned on the long term effects which will probably originate in the kidney. Anything you have read that leads you to believe long term kidney effects are possible? I'm thinking about going through one more cycle and ending it forever only because the lack of data on consistent long term use is relatively unavailable. What are your thoughts on that? Again, I've had success with the product, take regular breaks from it and feel totally fine, more of a precautionary thought I have been having. Appreciate your insight.

Benjimester profile image

Benjimester Hub Author 5 months ago

Hmm, I haven't heard anything about long term kidney effects. I wouldn't think NO would damage your kidneys because it's not a compound that the body feels that it needs to immediately get rid of, like with a lot of other compounds. I mean, the kidneys are mainly concerned with filtering the blood, and since NO is generally always present in the bloodstream anyway to some extent, I wouldn't think that it would cause major damage. But I'm not a medical professional, so I really can't say one way or another. NO Xplode has other stuff in it though beyond just nitric oxide, so maybe the combination of compounds has a damaging effect?

In truth, I think that regular prescription drugs are what causes a lot of the kidney damage that people often experience. Since the body doesn't have a clue what a prescription drug is, it tries to filter the chemicals out as quickly as possible, which is why people need to take their meds each and every day. But that's a whole different story.

Tom 5 months ago

Thanks, valid points you make. Luckily I've been a healthy dude and have never really been on prescription drugs consistently. So really, the kidney issue is a buildup of NO over extended periods of use (longer than recommended 2 months). So by taking proper breaks and giving kidney time to flush out, things should remain consistent... I realize you're not a doctor and I don't take this as professional advice, but this makes sense to me as well. I'll ask my doctor too. Appreciate it.

Benjimester profile image

Benjimester Hub Author 5 months ago

Definitely. Sorry I couldn't be more help. If you do get some straight answers, I'd love it if you came back and shared what the doctor said. Thanks man.

Matt 5 months ago

I recently stated taking N.O.explode. I started slow. 1 scoop with 10-12 ounces of water. I know that I am sensitive. I know that it increases blood flow and opens capillaries and veins because I feel flush and my

skin tingles a bit. I have more energy throughout my workouts. I do not work out longer but shorter. 45 mins max. Quality not quantity. More focused and no crashing in my workou. I also sip aminos from BCAA during and after my workout. N.O.Explode seems to be working as advertised. Still need a good workout routine and patience. What say you?

Benjimester profile image

Benjimester Hub Author 5 months ago

I think you're really smart for using it slowly and making sure you're cutting down on the side effects. I get headaches if I don't drink enough water with it, but that's all. Also, I totally agree with you that quality is better than quantity. That sometimes happens to me, when I get so pumped up for a workout that the workout is a lot shorter, but in a good way. As long as you're not experiencing any side effects, you should be good to use NO Xplode in your normal routine. Just make sure you develop a safe cycle.

Only just started using this product during hard cycling events and boy does it work !! I am flying up hills that i have to normally slip in behind another rider and try and hold his wheel (not literally) i was a bit concerned about long term use but i only take it before race events and not during training so maybe its all in the head, i dont know but it seems to work. Thanks for all the info its reinforced my plan not to use it too much.

Benjimester profile image

Benjimester Hub Author 4 months ago

Rory, that sounds awesome. Thanks for sharing. And you're really smart to only take for big events so you won't have to worry about long term use. Glad it works that well for you.

Any info on your well informed forum on foods that contain nitric oxide ?

What would be the best to include in my everyday diet ? I'd appreciate any info on this.

Benjimester profile image

Benjimester Hub Author 4 months ago

Yeah, there are a few ways of producing nitric oxide naturally in the body. The best method I've found is to take the amino acids L-Arginine and L-Citrulline. Both break down into nitric oxide in the body, but they also have a range of other benefits. L-Arginine is an important factor in muscle metabolism, which boosts endurance in workouts and L-Citrulline helps the body rid itself of ammonia, which is one of the by-products of exercise. So not only do you get natural nitric oxide production, but you get additional workout benefits too. So that's pretty cool.

roryboy 4 months ago

Thanks again for the info. I'll look in to that.

Sounds just what i'd need for a good workout on the bike.

Just got to grin and bear the crap weather here in old Scotland at the moment, but it's all good for stacking up the endurance miles, so long as i take the right stuff to counteract fatigue. Cheers for your help.

Rory, that sounds like a blast, biking through the hills of Scotland. I'm jealous :) I've always wanted to go to England and Scotland. Best of luck man.

You know, one other thing you might try. I use coconut oil a lot before workouts. Coconut oil has a bunch of medium chain triglyceride fats, which the body prefers to use immediately for energy rather than store. So you get a pretty good boost in energy that last about two hours. You might want to try it. Coconut oil is cheap. Just make sure you get the expeller pressed, unrefined kind so you know it hasn't been processed.

roryboy 4 months ago

You're jealous ? What about your country man, I'm keen to get over there as you have THEE best cyclist in the world after all !! Not to mention fantastic hills/mountains and scenery.

Thanks for the update on N.O. xplode i'm looking at stockpiling almonds, walnuts and coconut oil (Expensive over here)On a long ride i'm getting sick of gels, energy bars etc maybe the nuts will help and make a change of taste.

I'll continue to research from the info you've given me

Thanks again.

hey guys, i train taekwondo for a couple years...a friend of mine gave me noxplode2 15 days ago and i started using it 30 minutes before training hoping that i will train harder or run faster or do some sparring better... Well i noticed some minor improvements but nothing special. The worst thing was when every time i used it i felt some strange chills couple minutes later, and later suffered from real insomnia...also i felt arrythmia even two days after using noxplode2... So i just stopped using it...realized its not for me... Ill just go like before... Normal natural training is the best... :-)

I started using this product a week ago and I think it wonderful if taken in a reasonable range., But last time I took this dose was less than those recommended by a lot (tea spoon) and I found myself very lazy and I want to sleep during the exercise.

On the other hand I do not take anything else with this product only good food and water in abundance is this enough?

Benjimester profile image

Benjimester Hub Author 7 weeks ago

Hey Amr. I'm glad the NO Xplode is working well for you. It definitely gives you a big boost to your workout. You might want to think about taking some kind of protein powder too. That'll help build up your muscle mass quicker. If you don't want to use protein powder though, you should still see a nice boost in muscle mass just from using NO Xplode.

Amr 7 weeks ago

Hey Benjimester :

It was my weight 70 kilos and grams longitudinal 173 cm and became now after usingNo X-PLO 76.4 kg I do not like to increase my weight a lot I just want to draw muscles on my body . like the black man in Px90 with tony ^_^ .What i have to do .

Benjimester profile image

Benjimester Hub Author 6 weeks ago

If you want more definition without a lot more muscle mass, then you'll probably have to change the way you work out. You'll want to do less weight and more repetitions. That'll make you're muscles pretty defined and chiseled.

M. Ashraf 5 weeks ago

You mentioned one of the side effects, extended hypotension.

What do you mean by that? Do you mean that a person keeps on suffering from hypotension even after stopping the use of no xplode?! Or this only happens during it's use! And thank you very much for the info.

Benjimester profile image

Benjimester Hub Author 5 weeks ago

Most of the time, it's just during use. But there have been cases when the widening of the arteries is so severe and for such an extended period of time that the side effects linger.

M. Ashraf 5 weeks ago

How much is long term use is, for instance?

Benjimester profile image

Benjimester Hub Author 5 weeks ago

For NO Xplode, anything longer than 3 months is considered long term use by most. For some of the other, milder NO products, long term use is considered more than 6 months.

Dear :

I have been using since a month, but yesterday when I started training and found a headache for the first time .I stopped the exercise and went to the house, but my body as if it found a piece of fire, I am very afraid .Is when i use it should I practice sport immediately after .What happens if there is anything an emergency has not completed the exercise.

On the other hand many time i feel very sluggishly during exercise .Knowing that I take one spoon at a time one hour before exercise .Sometimes I feel high heat and energy and sometimes I feel sluggishly .I wonder here why be sluggishly

M. Ashraf 5 weeks ago

I'm suffering from hypotension nowadays but i've stopped the use of no for about 3 weeks now but whenever i get slghtly better i suffer again from hypotension (110/55 2 days ago, and that' serious!) after slight effort! I've even stopped going to the gym! i've made kidney function analysis, urine analysis, liver function analysis, 2 times blood test (no anaemia), echo on heart, everything was normal and that confused even more, cuz i'm not feeling well, and everything was normal. Could it be really the no?!, (putting into consideration that I did'nt use more than 1/4 of the bottle may be even less) Or could it be something else?!, probably proteins and amino acids as they contain arginie which is a vasodilator! I know i've asked too much but as you can see i'm very confused and I hope you can help me! and sorry for the disturbance and thank you very much :-)

Benjimester profile image

Benjimester Hub Author 4 weeks ago

Hey Amr. Headaches are the most common side effect. Drinking lots and lots of water is what most people say is the best way to get rid of them. I think the directions say to workout immediately after taking it. As for feeling sluggish, that's kind of strange. I don't know why you would feel less energy.

Benjimester profile image

Benjimester Hub Author 4 weeks ago

Hey M. Ashraf, yeah that is confusing. I wouldn't think that the NO would be causing such negative symptoms after having only taken such a small amount. NO is a pretty common compound, one that's in your body naturally all the time in small quantities. So for your body to react so negatively against it would be odd. Is this the first time you've experienced anything like this? It's good that all your organs are functioning properly. Hmm, I'll have to think about this some more.

M. Ashraf 4 weeks ago

Yeah it was my first time to feel this!...could it be physical dependance on such product, like when I stopped using it suddenly my body was'nt ready or something! I don't know I'm just improvising :-D... I'm trying to find an answer. And when doctors got confused they told me it's just a psychological case!! :-) like i'm depressed or something! I don't think so cuz I feel sad only when I'm not feeling well (like, most of people which is pretty normal). But yeah I've been using jack3d which is another very good preworkout supplement but never felt this durig or even after stopping it. I only switched no cuz jack3d was'nt so effective anymore! But I know you're right cuz no would'nt do all this but I just wanted to make sure! Thank you once again for your time you've been very helpfull! :-)

Benjimester profile image

Benjimester Hub Author 4 weeks ago

Sure thing man. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful. I've not taken Jack3d before, but my buddy takes it all the time and likes it. I bet your hypotension issues will go away before too long. 3 weeks of NO can't affect you for long.

M. Ashraf 4 weeks ago

hope so.. and thank you very much again! :-)
